Husband, Joe, and Diana became full time residents in 2016. Active in the Community, Diana serves as Chairperson of the TOLS Tourism Development Authority and volunteers with Graham County Revitalization Action Team to promote area tourism. She represents the Town Council as a Board Member on the South Western Commission TAC Committee. Education background: - Bachelor of Fine Arts from Valdosta State University - Certificate of Computer Science, Web Development Specialist, from Chattahoochee Tech Diana has thirty years experience in graphic design and computer production working with Fortune 500 corporations preparing annual reports and other marketing materials. Ten years working with Stein Communications as Pre-flight Computer Production Specialist of educational marketing materials for many universities, including American University of Law, Pace, DePaul, ASU, and Howard. Her love of travel to Mexico became a hobby business of 25+ years representing vacation rentals in Akumal, a small Caribbean community. For thirteen years she managed and rented her own four bedroom beachfront home. Hospitality expanded to owning the highly regarded bed and breakfast, Mileybright Farmhouse, in Decatur, Georgia. Joe and Diana enjoyed hosting guests from around the world for ten years. |
Jim HagerFinancial Officer
Phone (239) 293-7044 Email: [email protected] Jim has a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a post-graduate Certificate in Community Development from the University of Louisville. He has served as Mayor of Lake Santeetlah from 2015 until 2021, and now serves as Financial Officer for the Town. During his time on the Council many accomplishments were achieved:
For many years, Jim served as treasurer of Robbinsville United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Anne, have been Guardians Ad Litem for several years. Jim served as Treasurer and Anne served as Chairperson on the Referendum Committee that successfully brought beer and wine sales to Robbinsville for the first time since 1948. The Town benefits from increased tax revenue from beer and wine sales in Robbinsville. Before retirement, Jim worked for the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Division of Probation and Parole where he managed the state’s largest District in Louisville Kentucky. His district was comprised of over 65 Parole Officers and 35 Administrative Staff. Jim also served on the Louisville-Jefferson County Crime Commission and served on the Louisville Board of Health’s methadone advisory Board. Jim served in the United States Army in 1969 & 1970. He was the Battalion Evacuation NCO, responsible for the evacuation of the sick and injured on the DMZ in Korea. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. Jim later enlisted in the Kentucky National Guard for two years and received the rank of Staff Sergeant. |

Ralph StrunkAssistant Financial Officer
Phone (732) 501-8406 Email: [email protected] Ralph moved to Lake Santeetlah two years ago after the death of his long time love, Christine. He has children and relatives in NC, GA, NJ and TN. Daughter Charlotte is a regular visitor to the lake. In 1967, Ralph graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in accounting. Later completed a masters degree in management. He worked many years for Mobil Oil Corp. in NYC. Then began a 20 year career at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ, rising through the ranks to become the financial controller of the corporate headquarters. In 1996 Ralph was honored to be one of 30 people to serve a one year term on the President's Commission on Executive Exchange in Washington DC. Retired in 2018 after many years working at National Business Parks, Ralph now has the time and energy to serve the people of Lake Santeetlah as a Council Member. |

Phone (239) 287-5010 Email: [email protected] Born July 4, 1943, in Bellefontaine Ohio, Keith moved with his family to Boca Grande Florida in 1947 and to Everglades City Florida in 1950. He attended Gordon Military College high school in Barnesville, Georgia. Formal education followed at the University of Florida (BSPE 1965) and Boston University (MEd 1974). He was commissioned a 2dLT of Artillery in August of 1965 and subsequently served 23 years as an army officer and aviator. During that service he was a combat decorated artillery forward observer in Viet Nam and served tours of duty twice in Korea, twice in Germany, as well as tours throughout the US. He attended four military leadership colleges (US Air Force Staff College, US Army Command and General Staff College, The British Army Staff College and the Army War College). After retirement from the Army Keith worked as a Hospital Administrator for 8 years before forming his own private Construction management consulting corporation in the state of Florida in 1995. In the next 25 plus years he consulted with a wide range of not-for-profit agencies on more than $500 million in construction projects including Hospital, Medical, Hospice, Environmental Conservancy, Assisted Living, Theatrical, Women’s Abuse Shelters, Interactive learning facilities and Wildlife rehabilitation Centers. He has been a Rotarian and is a graduate of Leadership Collier 1993 and The University of North Carolina School of Government’s Advanced Leadership Course 2018. Having completed that course, he is a Leadership Ambassador in the state of North Carolina. His family purchased property in Lake Santeetlah in the mid ‘90’s and built their home here in 2007. Keith took permanent residence here in 2017 and is now in his third term on the Town Council. In that capacity he is committed to peace and prosperity for this beautiful “sanctuary”: the home of his “American Dream." |
