Emergency Management: Graham County Emergency Management is located at 49 South Main Street in Robbinsville next to the Sheriff's office. Office hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In emergency situations the office is manned around the clock. Information is available concerning Tornado Awareness, Fire Safety, Winter Storms, Winterization, Emergency Preparedness Checklist, Family Disaster Supply Kits, and Family Disaster Plans. Trash & Recycling

The town of Lake Santeetlah does not operate a municipal trash pickup. County residents may deposit their household trash at county dumpster sites. Dumpsters are located on East Buffalo Circle, turn left once you cross Ted Jordan Bridge on 129 S. There is also a dumpster on Hwy. 129 N at the entrance to Gladden's Creek Road. The town does accept recyclables at Town Hall. A dumpster is available for recyclables Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A list of accepted materials is posted on the trailer. Bins are available at Town Hall for each property owner to aid in the recycling effort. The county has a manned recycling site at 400 Snowbird Road (past Stanley Furniture) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Construction materials must be taken to the transfer station at 400 Snowbird Road.
